Can I add the Quote Request button to a product page?
No, the button can only be added to the cart page.
Our app is designed to preserve the standard Shopify shopping experience as closely as possible. This ensures minimal disruption to the customer journey and maintains compatibility with Shopify's native cart and checkout mechanisms.
How It Works
Customers interact with your store in the usual way:
- They browse your products.
- They add the desired items to their cart.
- They have the option to checkout or request a quote
At this time, Quick Quote does not support placing the Quote request button directly on the product page. This is by design, to ensure data accuracy and to prevent incomplete quote submissions that do not include line item properties, correct product pricing, discounts and other information that only exists in the cart.
We understand the appeal of product-page quote buttons, and we are actively exploring ways to support this functionality in future versions without compromising data integrity or customer experience.
