Adding discounts to a quote
Discounts can be applied to individual line items or to the entire quote, giving you full control over pricing and flexibility to accommodate special offers, negotiations, or customer-specific deals. Whether you need to adjust the price of a single product or apply a percentage or fixed amount discount to the full quote, the system makes it easy.
Add line Item discount
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Locate the product you wish to apply a discount to
3. Select the Price shown
4. Select the type of discount, the value, and enter a reason
For Fixed Amount, the discount value is the actual amount that will be discounted from the line item price
For Percentage, the discount value is a percentage and should be between 0 and 100.
5. Press Save
The discount will be shown just above the new line item price along with the reason.
Edit line item discount
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Locate the product with a discount that you wish to edit
3. Select the Price shown
4. Edit the discount properties as necessary
Delete line item discount
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Locate the product with a discount that you wish to delete
3. Select the Price shown
4. Press the Delete Discount button
Add quote discounts
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Scroll down to the totals section just below the products
3. Select the Add cart discount link
4. Select the type of discount, the value, and enter a reason
For Fixed Amount, the discount value is the actual amount that will be discounted from the line item price

5. Press Save
The discount and reason will be displayed in the totals section of the quote.
Edit quote discount
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Scroll down to the totals section just below the products
3. Select the Edit cart discount link
4. Adjust the discount properties as necessary
5. Press Save
Delete quote discount
1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page
2. Scroll down to the totals section just below the products
3. Select the Edit cart discount link
4. Press Delete Discount
