Changing quote status

Quote statuses help you track the progress of each quote from creation to completion. Whether a quote is created, sent, accepted, or expired, statuses provide a clear view of where each quote stands in your workflow. 


Quote statuses are automatically changed based on certain actions. You can also manually update statuses as needed. Managing quote statuses effectively ensures better organization, faster follow-ups, and improved visibility across your sales process.


Quote Statuses

Created

The initial status of a quote. 


Sent

The status that is set automatically when a quote is sent to a customer using the Email Quote functionality.


Viewed

This status is set automatically when a customer views the "Accept Quote" page.


Accepted

This status is set automatically when a customer presses the "Accept" button on the "Accept Quote" page.


Declined

This status is set automatically when the customer presses the "Declined" button on the "Accept Quote" page. 


Canceled

This status is not automatically set. It is only set when the status is manually set by the admin.


Ordered

This status is set automatically when the customer completes the checkout process after accepting the quote.

Set quote status manually

1. Navigate to the quote detail page

2. Press the Actions button

3. Select Edit Status

4. Choose the desired status from the dropdown list in thee pop-up

5. Press Save
